OUR MISSION

The mission of OGBOZOR FOUNDATION WORLDWIDE is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and wellbeing of widows and people in need. Guiding us in our mission are our core values:

Focusing on the critical needs of widows
Celebrating the diversity of the programs we offer and the volunteers and donors who makes this possible
Staying true to our heritage of responsible stewardship
Operating with accountability and transparency

Our Vision

We believe that when you change a widow's or a child's life , you change a family, which can change community and, ultimately the world.

As we provide family centred care, OFW strives to be part of the solution in improving the lives of widows and their families, providing programs that elevates and strengthen families during difficult times.

In 2017, we launched a five years "OFW impact strategy," with a goal to serve five thousand more widows, people in need and their families per year.This strategy not only builds on our success, but also gives us foundation to be stronger and more efficient than ever.

In order to do this, we are focusing on three strategic priorities:

Expanding our reach by both creating and growing existing programs including food donation and drop off and education career support.
Strengthening our global network through volunteer development and education, ensuring financial sustainability of OFW and its growing chapter worldwide.
Mobilising support to increase the understanding of OFW programs; thereby allowing us to support more widows, people in need and their families

OUR PROJECTS

OGBOZOR FOUNDATION WORLDWIDE is in the business of changing and shaping lives. The work we do at our Non-Profit Organisation is aimed at providing a holistic approach to solving some of our society’s biggest challenges and adding value to life. We make sure our partners are empowered by creating opportunities for individuals and communities. In 2018 we distributed 521 bags of 25kg of premium rice to all widows in EBE community in Enugu state Nigeria.

In January 2023 we gifted Rev Fr Ndubishi Nwabishi a Vehicle (Toyota Venza) for his 50th anniversary as a reverend Fr to commemorate him on the good work he has done for Ebe community in Enugu state Nigeria and Roman Catholic diocese as a whole.

Helping The Community

At OGBOZOR FOUNDATION WORLDWIDE, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing this issue. Food Donation Drop-Off is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.

EDUCATION AND CAREER SUPPORT

Reinforcing our Commitment

With this initiative, our goal is to promote great opportunities for young people and those in need.

In 2018 alone, we supported Higher Education and University School fees for five candidates.

We also supported professional careers for three qualified candidates in Medicine, Business Administration and Engineering

UNLOCKING POTENTIAL - Working directly with young people, teachers, and businesses to help build a successful and sustainable future for all young people. Through our employability and financial education programmes and resources we want to help young people realise their potential
LEARN BY DOING - Participation in Young Enterprise programmes develops key employability skills outside of the classroom. Through experiential learning, supported by volunteers from a range of industry sectors, young people are able to develop practical skills to prepare them for the world of work

On January 2023 Ogbozor Foundation Worldwide gifted Prof. Rev. Fr Malachy Nwabuisi a vehicle on his 50th anniversary of priesthood as part of adding value to life.

YOUTH EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME- UNITED KINGDOM
CAMPAIGN AGAINST KNIFE CRIME- UNITED KINGDOM

With access to the right resources, people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfil their potential. Our youth empowerment event at William Knibb Centre Kettering United Kingdom planned to start 16th September to 24th December 2019. Having successfully completed our 2019 African project phase one, November 3rd to 9th 2019. We have commenced necessary arrangements and plans for phase two.

Our campaign against knife crime is now at its peak as we work with government bodies, community interest companies, charities and most importantly local borough councils to help add value to life. Our first quarter 2020 Seminar is planned to run every Saturday throughout the month of February
